About the Role
We are looking for a young, energetic, and people-oriented HR professional to join The Archive Warehouse as our Head of People & Culture. This is an assistant-level role ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to grow, takes ownership of their work, and is passionate about building a great place to work.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Energy & Attitude: Young, self-driven, and enthusiastic about people and culture.
Labour Law: Working knowledge of the Kenya Employment Act and related legislation.
Payroll: Basic experience or training in payroll processing is an advantage.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication in English and Swahili.
Discretion: High level of confidentiality and professional integrity.
Tech Skills: Comfortable with MS Office and familiar with any HR or payroll software.

Responsibilities
Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes end-to-end.
Process and manage monthly payroll accurately and on time.
Maintain employee records, HR files, and contracts in compliance with Kenyan labour laws.
Support employee relations, welfare, and day-to day HR queries.
Assist in implementing and updating HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, WIBA, and statutory deductions (NSSF, SHIF, PAYE, Housing Level).
Help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
At least four years of experience with one year in a supervisory role.
Active membership with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
Must have attained or be in the process of completing the Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP-K).
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
